This beautiful bit of marlinespike seamanship is thanks to our friend and fellow sailor Brion Toss. This knife or key lanyard is something all us young upstart sailors practiced while reading Brion’s book Rigger’s Apprentice in the fo’c’s’le of our first vessel. We have added this design as one of our own in memory of him and his love for passing on the traditions of the sea.

This lanyard is made from a 3/32” cotton three strand line and measures about 30” long.
